Aden Nyekan and Georgetown face No. 2 Freed-Hardeman on Thursday night.
The junior and former Barren County Trojan is a starter for the No. 18 Tigers. He averages 9.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. He posted a season-high 21 points against Florida College on Nov. 22. Nyekan grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds against Bethel on Jan. 10, and dished a season-high four assists twice — against Cumberlands and Midway.
Georgetown is 15-5 overall and 2-2 in Mid-South Conference action. They take on Freed-Hardeman at 6:30 p.m. central time at home Thursday. The Tigers lost the last meeting, 80-67, between the teams on Jan. 8.
