For three quarters Tuesday night, Glasgow played close to the Fourth Region’s No. 1 boys’ team. But in the final period, Warren Central outscored the Scotties 28-16 to pull away for an 81-64 win.
In the final three minutes of the third period Glasgow posted an 11-5 run to overcome an 11-point deficit. The Scotties entered the final quarter down 5, 53-48. Glasgow opened the fourth quarter on a 6-3 run to get within 2, 56-54, with 5:38 left in the game. The Dragons buried a barrage of 3s to break away the rest of the way.
The Scotties trailed the Dragons, 31-28, at halftime.
Jaylen Bradley led Glasgow with 19 points, while Jerrick Martin added 14 and Landon Minton finished with 10 points.
On Friday Glasgow host Barren County. The boys’ game tips about 7:30. Between games will be the induction of the 2026 Glasgow Athletic Hall of Fame. Homecoming will be before the girls’ game at 5:15.
