Barren County steam rolled Bowling Green on Tuesday night, 57-27, in girls’ basketball.
The Trojanettes’ defense was suffocating in the first half. They led 12-6 at the end of the first period, and 31-8 by halftime.
Barren pushed its lead to 48-19 with a 17-11 advantage in the third period.
Shelby Byrd posted 22 points to lead the Trojanettes.
The Trojanettes are off until Monday, when they travel to Campbellsville for a 5:30 p.m. central time tip off.
