Three Barren County students have their artwork featured in a statewide exhibit.
Ninth-graders John Riley Christie and Bobby Kidd, and eighth-grader Jesse Rister are three of 30 students who have artwork featured in Arts for All Kentucky’s “A Matter of Perspective.” The annual statewide traveling exhibition displays artwork made by students with disabilities from across the commonwealth, according to a district press release.
“The exhibit travels throughout the state, highlighting the talent, creativity, and unique perspectives of these exceptional student artists,” the release stated.
A Matter of Perspective is on display at the Trojan Kala Mandir Art Museum until Jan. 23 and is open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. or by scheduling an appointment, according to information provided by Barren County Schools Communications Officer Heather Gardner.
A closing reception for the exhibition is scheduled for Jan. 22 from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
