Barren County torched the nets in the first half Monday night at Monroe County to win, 61-47.
The Trojanettes nailed six 3-pointers in the first quarter en route to a 24-13 lead after one over the host Lady Falcons.
Barren added a 16-11 run in the second period, and led 40-24 by halftime.
The scoring slowed in the second half. The Lady Falcons outscored the Trojanettes 23-21 in the second half.
Shelby Byrd led Barren with 22 points, while Ann Ashley Atkinson added 12, and Mahalia Burton finished with 11.
The Trojanettes play at Bowling Green Tuesday night with a 6 p.m. tip off.
