The Barren County Trojans rolled over Warren East 72-49 on Friday night to improve to 9-2 overall and 2-0 in 15th District action.
A red-hot first quarter set the tone for the Trojans as they outscored the Raiders, 31-9. Each other quarter in the game was even. Both teams scored 13 in the second period to set a 44-23 score at the break. The Trojans led 60-35 after three quarters.
Gavin Nunn led Barren with 15 points, while Weston Shelton added 13 and Kade Hardy finished with 11.
Barren is back in action Saturday night at Adair County with a 7:30 tip time.
