Glasgow fell to host Edmonson County in the Rafferty’s/Double Dogs Caveland Classic, 63-51, on Tuesday night.
The Lady Scotties fell behind 16-10 in the first quarter, but rallied in the second period and took a 21-18 lead. But the Lady Wildcats returned the favor and finished the first half on a 13-2 run to lead 31-23 at the break.
Glasgow struggled offensively in the third period and trailed 45-31 after three. The Lady Scotties posted another rally to start the fourth quarter. They trimmed their deficit from 14 to 6 with 3:51 to go, and trailed 50-44.
The Lady Wildcats finished the game on a 13-7 run to secure their win. The Lady Scotties fell to 3-7 with the loss. They are back in action today at 11 a.m. against Monroe County at Edmonson County.
Reese England led Glasgow with 22 points, while Kayla Kirkpatrick added 11.
