The Barren County Trojanettes rolled through three games of pool play at South Warren on Saturday and Sunday. They beat Daviess County, 50-31, Central Hardin, 65-36, and Christian County, 67-54, to improve to 11-0 overall. Those three victories set them up in the title game of the First Bank Classic on Monday at 1 p.m. against Franklin-Simpson
The Trojanettes opened the tournament Saturday with a 19-point win over Daviess County. Barren’s defense was suffocating. The lead was 12-8 at the end of the first quarter and 28-16 by halftime.
Shelby Byrd led the way with 21 points, while Addison McFall added eight.

Against Central Hardin, the Trojanettes were even more dominant. They jumped ahead 18-6 in the first quarter, and led 32-19 at halftime. They really took off in the third period with a 24-6 run to lead 56-25 after three.
Byrd scored 24 to lead Barren against the Lady Bruins. Addy Slagle added eight points.

On Sunday, Barren jumped on Christian County early, and led 24-14 at the end of the first period. The Trojanettes pushed their lead to 39-26 by halftime.
Slagle led with 15 points, while Byrd added 14, and Burton finished with 12.
