Spencer Lee Thompson, 88 of Edmonton, KY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home. Spencer was born on June 25, 1937, to the late Raymond and Delcie Dile Thompson. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son Lonnie Thompson, and his brothers Jimmy Thompson and Joe Fred Thompson.
Spencer is survived by his daughter, Brenda (Dr. Jason) Owsley of Glasgow, his son Timmy (Dr. Kelly) Thompson of Edmonton, his grandchildren Tessa Norris of Bowling Green, Hannah (Luke) Wilson of Center, Scout (Kayla) Thompson of Glasgow, Spencer Owsley, DJ Owsley, and Timothy Owsley of Glasgow, Mia Thompson and Lexi Thompson of Edmonton, Reba Thompson of Dixon, MO and Lonnie Thompson Jr. of Edmonton, several great grandchildren, his brother John Thompson of Edmonton and his sister Minnie Thompson of Edmonton and his friend/employee Vicky Worthy of Edmonton.

Funeral services will be private with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM Saturday, December 27,2025, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton.
