The Glasgow Lady Scotties dropped a couple of games at Metcalfe County over the weekend. On Saturday they built an early lead against Green County before falling 67-58. On Sunday, they lost to the host Lady Hornets, 62-48. They played both games without junior starter Jordy Goodman due to illness.
The Lady Scotties trailed Metcalfe 14-11 at the end of the first quarter, and 34-26 at halftime. The Lady Hornets pushed their lead to 46-35 after three quarters.
Jakylie Green led Glasgow with 17 points, while Kayla Kirkpatrick added 15.

Green, 17; Kirkpatrick, 15; Addyson Norris, 6; NaTaya Lightfoot, 4; Jayla Craine, 3; Reese England, 2; and Paeton Taylor, 1.
Against the Lady Dragons on Saturday, Glasgow led 20-11 at the end of the first quarter. Green County rallied in the second period with a 21-9 advantage to lead 32-29 at the break.
Both teams scored 17 points in the third period, and Glasgow trailed 49-46 after three.
Green and Kirkpatrick each scored 16 points to lead the Lady Scotties, while Reese England added 15.

The Lady Scotties are off until Monday, Dec. 29, when they will play in a three-day tournament at Edmonson County. They open against Butler County at 1 p.m.
