The Glasgow Lady Scotties used a third-quarter surge to beat Warren East, 63-56, in a 15th District showdown Thursday.
The Lady Scotties fell behind 10-7 on the road in the first quarter, but rallied in the second period. They outscored the Lady Raiders 15-11 in the second period to lead 22-21 at halftime.
Glasgow ran away from East in the third period with a 23-13 advantage, and led 45-34 after three.
From there the Lady Scotties held on down the stretch to get the district win. They improved to 3-3 overall and 1-0 in district.
Glasgow plays a pair of games this weekend at Metcalfe County. On Saturday at 3 p.m. they take on Green County, and Sunday at 4:30 p.m. they face the host Lady Hornets.
