Nola Dean Vincent King, Brownsville

Nola Dean Vincent King, 83, of Brownsville passed away Monday, December 15, 2025 at Edmonson Center.

The Edmonson County native was a CNA at Bowling Green Warren County Hospital and also  the Medical Center at Bowling Green after the transition. Nola enjoyed making candy and cookies with her grandchildren and was a talented seamstress.

She was a daughter of the late Blossie Vincent and Thelma Louise Farris Vincent. She was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Irene Vincent.

Surviving are a daughter, Ellen Poteet Hill (Terry) of Brownsville; two sons, Louis Poteet (Nettie Sturgeon) and Erwin Neal Poteet (Melinda) both of Brownsville; two sisters, Sarah Mae “Jane” Meredeth (Steve) of Chalybeate and Mary Linda Fulkerson of Munfordville; three grandchildren, Valentina Foster and Ashley Hill both of Brownsville and Tony Darnell (Cassa Ireland) of Bowling Green; and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, December 19, 2025 at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brownsville Cemetery. Visitation will take place 2:00-7:00 PM Thursday and after 9:00 AM Friday.
