Glasgow firefighters were on the scene of a possible fire in an Embark Court apartment for roughly an hour and ten minutes on Wednesday, Dec. 10.
After arriving at 107 Embark Court in Glasgow, firefighters entered and saw light smoke coming from the upstairs apartment door, a Glasgow Fire Department press release stated. The source was coming from a fan in the bathroom, the release stated.
“[The] crew requested a fan and opened all windows to air the apartment out,” the release stated. “[The] crew then removed part of the ceiling and used thermal images throughout the apartment and in the attic space to be sure there was no flame or smoke extension.”
There were no injuries reported and the Glasgow Police Department and Barren-Metcalfe Ambulance Service assisted the fire department, according to the release.
