Due to hazardous conditions on many of the bus routes, Barren County Schools will be closed on Friday, Dec. 12, according to Heather Gardner, district communications officer.
It will be a traditional snow day and not a Non Traditional Instruction Day, Gardner said.
“Please stay safe, and thank you for your understanding as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff,” Gardner wrote in an email.
Glasgow and Caverna Independent schools will have school as normal, according to Glasgow Superintendent Chad Muhlenkamp and Caverna Superintendent Amanda Abell.
