Irene Biggs, age 94 of Munfordville, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. She was a member of the Munfordville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved being in the garden, studying the Bible, crocheting, playing piano, and spending time with her family.
She was a daughter of the late Oria Burnett and the late Zelma Elizabeth Pendleton Burnett.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Roy Biggs; her siblings, Johnny, Gerline, Phillip, Truman, Don, Geneva, Mildred, and Thelma Jenne.
She is survived by two grandchildren, Christopher Biggs, Munfordville, KY, and Heather McGavic, Horse Cave, KY; two great grandchildren, Jamin McGavic (Emma) and Addison Staton (Deric); two great-great grandchildren, Silas Staton and Stella Staton; one brother, Louie Burnett.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM CT on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at the Bowling Green South Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4655 Russellville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42101. Brooks Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
