The Barren County Trojanettes improved to 2-0 on the season with a road win at Elizabethtown on Friday.
With Shelby Byrd hobbled by fouls, Addy Slagle took over the scoring lead as the Trojanettes beat the Lady Panthers, 67-61. Slagle poured in 29 points.
Barren jumped on Elizabethtown, 20-8, in the first quarter. The Lady Panthers chipped away at the lead with a 18-13 advantage in the second period. The Trojanettes led 33-26 at halftime, and 43-41 after three quarters.

Barren returns to action tonight at home against Caverna at 6 p.m.
