Lance Edward Humphrey, age 29 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at Morgan County Appalachian Regional Hospital in West Liberty, Kentucky. Lance was born on May 30, 1996 in Glasgow, Kentucky to Kevin Humphrey and Tyra Cope Cash. He was a 2014 graduate of Cumberland County High School.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Coolidge and Ruth Humphrey and Pansy Dyer, Lonnie Cope and his stepfather Chris Cash.
Lance is survived by his mother, Tyra Cash of Burkesville; father, Kevin Humphrey; four brothers and sisters, Kendell Cash and Letisha Cash both of Burkesville, Landria Cash of Marrowbone and Bailey Cash of Columbia; special family members, David Craft who was like a dad to him, Sheila McClusky who was like a grandmother to him, and special aunts, April Craft and Melody Watson and a host of other relatives and friends
Funeral services for Lance Edward Humphrey will be held at 1PM Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, Kentucky with burial in Liberty Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Tuesday, December 9 from 10 A.M. until time for the service at 1 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
