Glenn ‘Woody’ Woodcock, Munfordville

Dec 4, 2025 | 12:51 PM
Glenn “Woody” Woodcock, age 77, of Munfordville, died Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at his daughter’s residence. The Hart County native was born on December 12, 1947 to the late Lacy and Lucy Gaskin Woodcock. He was married to his devoted wife, Elaine Woodcock, who survives.

Glenn “Woody” proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era, carrying with him a deep sense of duty and patriotism throughout his life. After his military service, he enjoyed a long and dedicated career as a truck driver with TS Trucking, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability. Glenn was of the Methodist faith, and he loved being involved with the Hart County Lions Club, where he enjoyed helping out and spending time with friends. More than anything, Woody loved being out by the water with a fishing pole. That’s where he found his peace—just him, the outdoors, and the quiet moments that made him happiest.

Besides his wife, Elaine, he leaves to honor his memory, his daughter, Marnie Fawns (Sammy) of Park City; grandchildren, Mercedez Fawns (Derek Thompson) of Glasgow and Zack Fawns of Park City; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Blayklee and Maverick Thompson, and a brother, Ronnie Woodcock (Donita) of Munfordville. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Carlton and Ray Woodcock, Shirley Jackson and Pam Rich.

Memorial contributions may be made to Patton Funeral Home, Park City Chapel or to the family through Venmo.
