Christopher Bratcher, Glasgow

Mr. Christopher Bratcher, 53 of Glasgow, Ky passed away Monday, November 17, 2025, at his residence. Chris was born on August 6, 1972 to the late Robert Bratcher and Patti Burris.
Chris was a passionate soul, honest father, mentor, caretaker and 30 year plus broadcaster. He cared immensely about our local community through the musicians he interviewed and the causes they stood for. Chris was a Pleasure Ridge Park high school graduate, WKU student, bird watcher, cat lover, a music fanatic, IT gaming nerd, and friend to many. Chris Bratcher’s charm, personality and wit will be missed.
He followed a broadcasting career in footsteps of his grandfather who worked at WLOC in Munfordville. Chris started in radio in Ohio before moving to Glasgow in 1997 to work for Commonwealth Broadcasting his stops were in Bardstown at WOKH/WBRT, Elizabethtown at WRZI 101-5/107-3 The Point and Glasgow/Bowling Green at WPTQ 103-7 The Point,105-3 The Point. He also worked for the WKU Hilltoppers as a road technician. In October of 2024 Chris moved with WPTQ 105-3 to Bowling Green to work for 7 Mountains Media which now is 105-3 The GOAT. He continued his love of promoting local bands in our area Thursday nights at 6 with the Local Show. Chris Bratcher will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and listeners.
Chris is survived by his son Robert Clay Bratcher; aunt & uncle William and Denise Witten; and a host of cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor the life of Chris.
Hayes Brothers Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.

    I had the pleasure of knowing Chris the last 5 years and am heartbroken to hear the news of his passing. Chris had friends all over the country and the world who would game with him often. He was clever, funny and great company. He will be missed dearly. – Andrew D (Canada)
