Former Caverna Colonel Drew Rhodes has earned a starting spot on the Union Commonwealth men’s basketball team.
Through six games, Rhodes averages 8.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1 steal per game. He posted a season-high 12 points in an 82-81 win over Montreat on Nov. 14. He also grabbed three rebounds and stole two balls in that game.
The 2-3 Bulldogs return to action Saturday at Milligan in Johnson City, Tenn., at 3 p.m. central.
