William Paul Barrick, 66, of Merry Oaks, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on September 26, 2025. He was born on November 1, 1958 to Marvis and Jane Barrick in Warren County, Kentucky.
He was a graduate of Oral Roberts University, and after living in Southwest Florida for a few decades, he returned to his hometown in Merry Oaks to live with his wife Rubi and continue to work at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was an active member of his community, wherever he lived, and gave back in many ways, especially as a consistent blood donor.
He leaves to honor his memory, his wife, Rubi Barrick and six stepchildren, Cinthia, Aurora, Katherine, Fiollera, Emily and Christian; his children, Brandon Barrick (wife Kari) and Audra Bickford (husband Ward); his grandchildren, Luther and Edison Bickford; his siblings, Fred Bullock (wife Gloria), Mark Barrick (wife Marilyn) and Ann Young, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends and family are invited to join in a Celebration of Life at 11 AM on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Merry Oaks Community Church, 128 Merry Oaks Payne Road, Smiths Grove, Kentucky, 42171. Join us as we share joyful memories and honor the wonderful legacy that he leaves behind. A potluck lunch will follow the service. Please feel free to bring a side, salad, or dessert.
