Audrey Nuetzman led the way for Barren County’s girls at their regional cross country meet at Thomas Nelson High School. The freshman finished sixth with a time of 19:51.81 at the Class 3A, Region 2 meet in Bardstown.
Senior teammate Molly Beckham ran seventh with a time of 19:56.49, while Adeline Coleman finished 31st with a time of 22:11.17. Mary Warren was 37th with a time of 22:48.81, and Maria Dyer finished 47th with a time of 24:00.28. Their placements were used to calculate the team score. The Trojanettes finished fourth.
Greenwood won the girls’ team title, while South Warren was second.
Barren County’s boys finished 10th in their regional meet. Tyler Lindley led the way with a time of 20:41.69. See their full results below.
