Corene Richardson, age 87, of Horse Cave, died Friday, October 10, 2025, at Signature HealthCare of Hart County. She was of the Baptist Faith, and enjoyed spending time reading the bible, which she knew by heart. Corene was a hard worker, having her first job at the age of 16, and not retiring until age 82. Most of all, she loved God and her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin “Fred” Richardson; one son, Samuel Bush; one granddaughter, Sarah Spencer; parents, Georgie Pearson, and Lorene Saddler Pearson; and several siblings.
She is survived by four children, Danny Bush (Laura), Theresa Spencer (Darrell), Doug Bush (Brenda), and Walter Bush; 15 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Frank Simpson; one sister, June Henson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 11:00AM, at Winn Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM, and will continue after 8:00AM on Monday until the time of the service at 11:00AM.
