Barren County golfers Chloe Witcher and Lucy Zalla wrapped up their runs in the girls’ state golf tournament Wednesday.
Witcher, a junior, finished round 2 with an 82 at Bowling Green Country Club, while senior Zalla shot 90. Witcher finished tied for 25th while Zalla was tied for 61st.
In round 1 of the state tournament, Witcher shot a 76 and Zalla finished with an 83.
Leading up to the state event, Barren County’s girls’ golf team placed second at region, with Witcher finishing third as an individual and Zalla tying for sixth place.
