The Glasgow Scotties braved a weather delay and Monroe County Friday night to improve to 3-0 this season with a 14-3 win.

The Scotties trailed the Falcons 3-0 until the final second of the first half. Quarterback Hudson Gumm scrambled 3 yards and dove over the goal line pylon for Glasgow’s first score. Jared Malagon added the extra point kick.

Glasgow led 7-3 at halftime, and did not trail again in the game.

Cam Bulle added a 32-yard touchdown run with 4:31 left in the third quarter. Malagon added his second PAT to give the Scotties a 14-3 lead.

That touchdown run came one play after Gumm recovered a Monroe County fumbled punt.

Landon Martin picked off a pass in the fourth quarter to stop another Falcons’ drive.

Bulle led Glasgow in rushing with 102 yards on 11 carries, while Gumm added 42 yards on 14 runs.

Keyshawn Austin led the Scotties in receiving with 14 yards, while Jeremiah Moore caught one pass for 10 yards.

Gumm completed 5 of 13 passes for 38 yards.

Trace Smith led Glasgow with 10 tackles and a sack, while Grayson Bartley had eight tackles.

Glasgow plays at Allen County-Scottsville next Friday at 7 p.m.
