The Lady Scotties are one win away from matching their total from 2024.
Glasgow beat Warren East on Saturday, 1-0, in the semifinal round of a 2A Sectional girls’ soccer contest to improve to 5-0. They return to action Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at Warren East against Franklin-Simpson in the title game of the sectional.
Maria Ramos scored the lone goal with an assist by Aniston Young. A stiff defense and five saves by goalie Ladeja Driver set the shutout win. The win was the second of the season against Warren East, which is also a 15th District rival for Glasgow.
