Golda Evelyn (Pitcock) Hall, age 86, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky died Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Signature Healthcare of Putnam County in Cookeville, Tennessee. Golda was born in Tompkinsville, on November 29, 1938, a daughter of the late Bowman and Wilma (Hammer) Pitcock. She was a 1957 graduate of Tompkinsville High School and was baptized in the Church of Christ. Golda retired from Houchens and previously worked at the nursing home in Monroe County. She enjoyed spending time outdoors looking at birds and flowers, reading, and loving her babies.
She is survived by her daughters, Loretta Carpenter of Algood, Tennessee, Lisa Cawthorn of Tompkinsville, and Patti Moore and husband David of Algood; one son, Terry Hall of Tompkinsville; eight grandchildren, Laura, Chastity, Alana, Justin, Jaylan, Heath, Dusty, and Tierra; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and one brother Phillip Pitcock and wife Linda of Tompkinsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Roger Earl Hall; one sister, Ruthann Curtis and one brother, Larry Pitcock.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial to follow in Monroe County Memorial Lawn.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 4:00 until 8:00PM and again on Monday after 9:00AM until the service time at 2:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Mrs. Hall. Those may be made at the funeral home.
Pallbearers: Justin Hall, Tucker Scott, Austin Hutcherson, Brandon Pitcock, Bronson Pitcock, and J.P. Pitcock.
