Barbara Jean Bryant, age 84, of Glasgow, died Saturday, August 16, 2025 at TJ Samson Community Hospital. The Hart County native enjoyed spending time with her family above all things. She liked to take drives through the country side. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her four children, Donita Wilson (Mark), Ray Bryant (Jenny), Kendell Bryant-Plato (Ward), and Tracy Lacy; 10 grandchildren, Derrick Wilson, Tyler Wilson, Joshua Bryant, Brandon Bryant, Desiree Bryant, April Bryant, Brittany Lacy, Dylan Lacy, and David Higgs; several great-grandchildren; a special friend and caregiver, Wayne Mesker.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Grethal Coffey; one daughter, Vicky Higgs; brother, Bobby Coffey; half-brother, Billy Coffey.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Cosby Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Winn Funeral Home from 4-8PM and from 9 AM until time of service on Wednesday.
