Patronage of Jersey Mike’s Subs can further a local nonprofit’s mission of “of building healthier communities [throughout] southcentral Kentucky.”

On March 26, 100 percent of Jersey Mike’s sales at the Glasgow and Bowling Green locations will go towards the T.J. Community Mission Foundation, according to a press release from Bart Logsdon, T.J. Regional Health’s marketing liaison.

The mission’s Executive Director Randy Burns said he was “thrilled” to be Jersey Mike’s selected charity.

“These will be unrestricted funds to the T.J. Community Mission Foundation, meaning we can use [the funds] for any of the programs that we have whether it be Shanti Niketan [Hospice Home], the Community Medical Care program, or the Kit for Kids program,” Burns said. “Any and all programs we have as a foundation can be supported through the partnership with Jersey Mike’s.”

Larry Glass, co-owner of Barren River Plaza, where Glasgow’s Jersey Mike’s is located, wrote in a social media post that throughout the entire month customers can round up on their bills with the extra going toward the philanthropic arm of T.J. Regional Health.

“Throughout the entire month of March, customers also have the opportunity to round up their bill or contribute an additional amount, with all proceeds benefiting the foundation,” Glass wrote.
