Four people were transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital after a two-vehicle collision at the Max Wagner Drive and Happy Valley Road intersection, according to a Glasgow Police Department press release.
Glasgow Police Department Public Information Officer Terry Flatt wrote in the press release that “a Toyota operated by Phillip Burton was traveling east and failed to see the Ford operated by Melissa Lee, which was stopped in traffic, and struck the vehicle in the rear bumper area.”
Burton, Jessica Burton, Judy Powell and Lee were all transported to the hospital by Barren-Metcalfe EMS for their injuries.
The seatbelts were in use, according to the press release.
