Mary McGuire, age 87, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away, Monday, March 3, 2025, at Barren County Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Glasgow, Kentucky, on September 24, 1937, to the late Jessie McCoy and the late Mona Jewell Perkins McCoy. Mary spent several years working at Greer’s Florist making beautiful floral arrangements for the community. Mary was a faithful member of Gethsemane Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Dottie Beth Lawrence (Bernard) and Cindy Harvey (Terry); grandchildren, Jason Scott Matthews and Daniel Harvey (Hannah); great grandchildren, Zoe Matthews and Clinton Harvey; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Con McGuire; siblings, William Carl McCoy and Freddie McCoy; father-in-law, Veachel McGuire; and mother-in-law, Lucille McGuire.
There will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 7, 2025, at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. There will be visitation starting at 1:30 PM until time for the service at the cemetery.
