Eli Brooks scored a college career-high 16 points recently. The former Barren County standout is in his second season at California (Pa.) University and comes off the bench for the Vulcans.
Brooks posted the 16 points against Wheeling on Dec. 1, but his team lost in overtime, 89-83. He is averaging 5.2 points per game in his sophomore season and shooting 47.8 percent from the field. He plays nearly 15 minutes per game. Against Wheeling, he also had six rebounds and three assists.
California returns to action today against Bloomsburg.
