Olene Disman, 88, of Adolphus, KY passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Morgantown Care and Rehab in Morgantown, KY. The Adolphus, KY native was a homemaker and mother of 11 children, a farmer who worked beside her husband and member of Robert’s Tabernacle Church of God. She was a daughter of the late William Howard Morgan and Betsy Virgie Horne Morgan and wife of the late Elvis D. Disman.
She is survived by 4 sons: Wayne Disman (Carol), Adolphus, KY; Donnie Disman, Scottsville, KY; Mike Disman (Colene) and Tim Disman (Amanda), all of Franklin, KY;
3 daughters: Margaret Meadows, Scottsville, KY; Jeneane Simmons (Dalynn), Pikeville, TN; Janice Towe (Billy), Franklin, KY;
1 sister: Dovie Marsh, Gamaliel, KY;
Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 3 daughters: Doris Ann Disman, Reva Nell Disman and Dorothy Carolyn Clark; 1 son: Darrell Gene Disman; 2 grandchildren: Terry Disman and Kimberly Disman; 6 brothers: Alvis Morgan, Jack Morgan, Willie Morgan, Cadle Morgan, Tommy Morgan and Ray Morgan; 1 sister: Annis Ray.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Bary Ray and Bro. B. J. Towe officiating and burial in Fountain Run Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 8:00 a.m. Sunday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. The funeral can be viewed live beginning at 2:00 p.m. Sunday on Goad Funeral Home Facebook page. According to the Kentucky Funeral Director’s Association, social distancing and face masks are recommended and there is NO PUBLIC lounge available.
