A Scottsville woman, Reda W. Tabor, 67, has been sentenced to two years in federal prison for her involvement in a scheme to defraud her former employer.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Kentucky, Tabor, who served as vice president of finance and human resources at Beneke Wire Company in Louisville, embezzled over $873,000 by making unauthorized transfers from company accounts to her personal bank account between 2014 and 2020. She was also ordered to pay restitution and fined $10,000.
The FBI investigated the case.
