Stephen D. Ivie, 75, passed away on July 24th, 2024 At Charter Assisted Living in Bowling Green, Ky. He was born on April 19th,1949 in Warren County to Walter and Martha Ivie. Steve graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1967, attended Western Ky. University and furthered his education at Bowling Green Business School. He was employed in a front desk position at Days Inn Hotel for several years. Steve’s hobbies included astronomy, weather related topics, playing cards and making up jokes and puns to make people laugh.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Justine Watkins Ivie, Vick Sr. and Nell Cole Smith, his parents Walter and Martha Smith Ivie and his brother in law Tim Mattingly.
He is survived by his sisters Donna Ivie Rector(Ed) and Joan Ivie Mattingly plus many nieces and nephews.
We have chosen to have a private ceremony at Fairview Cemetery to honor his memory and would appreciate your love and prayers during this difficult time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
