Byron Hallock Rogers, age 73 of Franklin, died Wednesday, July 24 at the U of L Jewish Hospital in Louisville. There will be no service at this time.
Crafton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A native of Simpson County, he was the son of the late Byron H. Rogers and Edith Kathryn Stinson Anderson.
He was preceded in death by a sister – Patricia Rush and a brother – Billy Chaffin.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Simpson County Historical Society and American Legion. He was also known for creating replicas of the original Simpson County Court House as well as the Octagon House. Hal was an Air Force Veteran.
Survivors include his brother – Randy Rogers of Portland, TN and a sister – Libby Adams.
