In loving memory of Clara ‘Ann’ Moats, 76, of Bowling Green, Kentucky who left this world with her loving family by her side at her residence on July 13, 2024. Ann was born October 28, 1947 in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
She is survived by her loving, devoted Husband of 58 years, Bobby Joe Moats; son, Donny Moats (Cynthia); daughter, Teresa Johnson (Kountry); seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many close friends and extended family.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, M.M. and Zana Rhoads; brother, Bill Rhoads; and great grand-daughter, Baylee Rae.
Ann graduated from Warren County Central High School class of 1964 and married the love of her life October 15, 1965. They were childhood sweethearts and their love was put to the test when Bobby was called to active duty in the Vietnam War; in which he served honorably. When he returned home he never left her side again.
Ann became a Circuit Court Bench Clerk for the Warren County Circuit Courts where she served under several Judges until her retirement in 2007 after 27 years of service. Following her retirement she enjoyed watching UK Basketball, lunch with her girlfriends, and baking and cooking. She was a true artist and the kitchen was her canvas.
Cremation was chosen and J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapels has been entrusted with arrangements.
