Bobby K. Carter, 76, of Bowling Green passed away Wednesday July 10, 2024 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. He was the son of the late Sterling and Ada Carter. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Leonard Carter, 3 sisters; Louise Brown, Betty Hines and Joyce Patton.
Bobby was owner and founder of B & D Pallet Company and B & D BBQ. He was a member of Hillvue Heights Church, Past Master of the Bowling Green Masonic Lodge # 73, a member of the Rizpah Shriners, the Bowling Green Country Club, the Bowling Green Jaycees and the Hilltopper Athletic Foundation. Bobby was also a Past President of the Warren Central Quarterback Club from 1994 to 1998.
Bobby is survived by 2 sons; David Brian Carter and Jonathan Andrew Carter (Kati), a daughter, Shannon Fuhrman, 2 sisters; June Ramsey (Kenneth) and Patricia Hallman, 5 grandchildren; John and Dominic Fuhrman, Noah, Kayla and Alyssa Carter, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel will be Tuesday July 16, 2024 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM and Wednesday, July 17th from 9:00 until 11:00 AM., with the funeral service to follow. A burial will be 12:00 Noon EST Thursday, July 18th at Mill Springs Christian Church Cemetery in Monticello, KY.
