Tonya Lee Conner, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on July 3, 2024 at the age of 56 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She fought a long and courageous battle with diabetes, heart failure, and kidney failure.
Born on July 29, 1967, Tonya lived a full and vibrant life. She had a passion for coloring fuzzy posters and collecting Indian artifacts and pictures of her family and friends. She was a kind and gentle soul, always putting others before herself. Tonya had a contagious smile and a heart of gold, touching the lives of all who knew her.
Tonya’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted mother to her daughter Elizabeth Dawood and her son Bobby Conner Jr. She was also a loving mother-in-law to Yaya Dawood and Autumn Conner. Tonya adored her grandchildren BooBoo, Alicia, Izabella, Jaime, Ja’liah, Aj, Gamal, Elizabeth, Anthony, and Leo, who brought endless joy and laughter into her life.
In addition to her family, Tonya leaves behind her ex-husband Bobby Conner Sr. and the memory of her ex boyfriend Garry Roy Larsen Jr. who preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Tonya’s life on Sunday July 14,2024 at 1:00pm at Glencliff United Methodist Church 2901 Glencliff Rd, Nashville,Tn 37211.In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Tonya’s daughter in honor of Tonya’s memory. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and kindness will live on forever.
