William Edward Thompson, 53, of Fountain Run, KY passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024 at his home.
William was born on September 13, 1970 in Lafayette, TN, a son of the late Daniel Thompson and Thelma Jean (Meadors) Blankenship.
William graduated from Monroe County High School in 1991. He was a big University of Kentucky fan and always had a smile for everyone.
William is survived by his step-father, Gary Blankenship, of Fountain Run, KY; sister, Amanda Anderson, of Scottsville, KY; nieces and nephews, Alexa, Braxton and Kenlie and a aunt and uncle, Joyce and Charles Ryherd of Gamaliel, KY.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Fountain Run Funeral Home with burial to follow at Neal Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday, 4-8 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Fountain Run Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in William’s memory may be made to Neal Cemetery.
