Robert William “Bobby” Hughes, 49, of Smiths Grove passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, July 8, , 49, of Smiths Grove passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, July 8, at the Hospice House.
The Danville, Indiana native was a son of the late Richard Hughes and Darlene and Richard Nations who survives. Bobby was a retired Navy Chief and Operations Manager at Kamps Pallets. He was a member of the Barren River Fishing League.
His survivors include his wife Leigh Neat Hughes, six children, Lexi Adkins (Zack), Keegan Hughes, Rebecca Cooper, Brady Dragoo, Carli Dragoo and Haley Squires (Ryan); one grandson, Miller Jay Adkins; two brothers, Richard Hughes III (Tanya) and Jimmy Hughes; one sister, Linda Hughes and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service held at 12 noon on Saturday with visitation from 10 a.m.- 12 noon at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.
