Kim Diane Hicks Phelps, 66, of Bowling Green passed away June 23, 2024 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Indianapolis, Indiana native was born May 18, 1958 to the late Noel and Ida Bell Frances Pearson Hicks. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Mitchell Phelps. Kim was an avid reader, loved doing puzzle books, and watching her soap operas on TV. She was a longtime housekeeper at Rosewood Heathcare and attended Clear Fork Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Patricia Cain (Brian) of Bowling Green, Andrew Phelps (KC) of Bowling Green, Jason Phelps (Christina) of Morgantown, and Kristy Phelps (the late Brett) of Franklin; grandchildren, Hayley Cain (Jordan), Brian Cain, Jr., Stella Phelps, John Aycock, Mitchell Phelps, Dustin Phelps (Karen), Cody Phelps (Rachel), and Kimberly Phelps (Timmy); 11 great-grandchildren; 15 siblings; and several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Funeral services will be held at Noon Wednesday at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel with visitation from 1 until 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place next to her husband at Still Cemetery.
