The Best of the Barrens Bash held Friday, June 20th, saw residents and vendors flock to the Ole’ French Restaurant, each with likeminded goals of supporting local business, kicking off their weekends and seeing what the Best of the Barrens has to offer.
WCLU staff took the time to capture the moments that made this Bash the best:

The Ole’ French Restaurant close to Glasgow Municipal Airport made for the perfect summer venue.

While a “She-shed” was up for grabs, don’t let the name fool you, this structure can hang guns, heels or both.

Multiple games were set up, which entertained youths at the event, while giving parents some much needed respite.

Barren County Schools’ Beyond the Bell program, and Best of the Barrens’ childcare winner for the 2nd year, offered activities and information for attendees.

Brenton Coates offered a live performance to attendees, playing a mix of cover songs and originals.

The impact of seeing winners, nominees, and locals all come together in good-spirited competition and fellowship, made this event the true Best of the Barrens.
