GLASGOW, KY – Food trucks are all the craze these days. Now, on Columbia Avenue across from Harper’s Auto Sales, a food truck assembly lot is now open called Street Eats. Beth Wagner and her husband saw a food truck lot in Florida one day, and thought about how to bring that idea to Barren County. WCLU spoke with Wagner this weekend in preparation for the 400 mile yard sale.
Wagner wanted to get the lot open just in time for the huge yard sale event as last-minute signage was being put by the roadside and linemen up on power poles trying to begin the process of what she hopes Street Eats will one day become.
The property extends several acres off the road, opening up opportunities for the site to grow. Plans to have picnic tables are already in place.
Wagner also owns an events venue called The Soiree at Plaza Way, and short-term rental properties including The Balcony on Broadway, Copper & Elk, The Wilbur, and The Plaid Peacock.
