Lois Florine Trowbridge Lee

Lois Florine Trowbridge Lee of Mississippi, formerly of Greensburg, daughter of the late Johnnie Franklin Trowbridge and Oura Christine Thompson Trowbridge, was born on Saturday, April 29, 1933 in Green County and passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024 in Biloxi, Mississippi. She was 91 years and 27 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of Houks Chapel United Methodist Church, and worked as an Administrative Assistant at Coastal Exterminating.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of 43 years, James Curtis Ray Sr. on June 23, 1993 having united in marriage on December 30, 1949. She was also preceded in death by her second husband of 19 years, William Robert Lee on June 25, 2015 having united in marriage on November 25, 1995.

Survivors include two daughters: Charlene Wilkinson of Biloxi, Mississippi, Sheila Diane Lee of Simpsonville; two sons: James Curtis Ray of Sevierville, Tennessee, Kenny Eugene Lee of Green County; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law: Dean Garrison of Greensburg.

She was also preceded in death by three sons: John Lee Ray, Keith Alan Lee, Robert Lynn Lee; a brother: Clayton Garrison.

The funeral arrangements for Lois Florine Trowbridge Lee will be conducted at 11 A.M., Central Time, Monday, June 3, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Houk Cemetery.

Visitation is requested after 10 A.M., Central Time, Monday until time of the funeral service.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Houk Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
