Patty S. Wells Hulman, 75, of Rockfield passed away at 4:33 a.m. Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
The Butler County native was born August 18, 1948 to the late Thurman and Erdine Kirby Wells. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Timothy Lynn Hulman and infant David Anthony Hulman. Patty was well known for her green thumb and ability to cook. These skills were greatly appreciated by her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who used tough love in her care for them.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Travis L. Hulman; children, Barry D. Hulman (Rebecca Blair), Travis E. Hulman (Stacey), Tracy Hulman (Bobbie Jo), and Paula Thornton (the late Dave) all of Warren County; grandchildren, David Anthony Hulman, Justin Hulman, Ashton Knight, Makayla Hulman, Tori Brashear (Jeff), Tony Hulman, Trevor Hulman, Melissa Thornton, Travis Thornton, and Jacob Thornton; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Basham.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel with visitation from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Youngstown Cemetery in Butler County.
