Bowling Green Police Arrest Man for Theft from Vehicles

(December 11, 2023) Bowling Green, KY — A man is facing various theft and drug-related charges following his arrest by the Bowling Green Police Department.

36-year-old Charlie Porter was removing items from vehicles in the Cave Mill Station area. After a brief foot pursuit, Porter was taken into custody.

Officers searched Porter’s vehicle and located numerous stolen items, several syringes, stolen checks, drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Porter was lodge in the Warren County Regional Jail and charged with first degree trafficking in a controlled substance, methamphetamine; third degree burglary related to nearby storage units; trafficking in financial information; theft of contents from a vehicle; second degree fleeing or evading police, on foot; third degree criminal mischief; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
