BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (November 5th, 2023) – Kentucky State Police Post 3 in Bowling Green has announced the promotion of three troopers and officers in their mission to enhance public safety.
On November 2nd, Justice and Public Safety Cabinet Secretary Kerry Harvey and Kentucky State Police Commissioner Phillip Burnett Jr. recognized 31 troopers and officers across the state who have been promoted into leadership roles since May of this year, including one lieutenant colonel, five majors, two captains, 10 lieutenants and 13 sergeants, with a mission of creating a better Kentucky through public safety efforts and service to all Kentuckians.
In the Post 3 area, Sergeant Brandon Brooks and Sergeant Jeremy Mabe were both promoted to lieutenant; and Trooper Leo Slone was promoted to sergeant. All are assigned to Post 3 in Bowling Green.
