TYNER, Ky. (October 16, 2023) – A Georgia woman is dead following a collision in Jackson County on Monday.
Just before 10:00am, Kentucky State Police Richmond Post was contacted regarding a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Kentucky 30 and Kentucky 3629.
The initial investigation indicates a 2015 Jeep Cherokee traveling west on Kentucky 30 crossed the center line into the path of a 2004 Dodge Ram traveling east. The driver of the Jeep Cherokee, 72-year-old Wanda Kennedy of Blue Ridge, Georgia, succumbed to her injuries, and the Jackson County Coroner pronounced her dead at the scene. No injuries were reported for the driver of the Dodge Ram, 66-year-old Terry Crisp of Franklin, North Carolina.
