River Lake Church in Glasgow is hosting Feeding America’s October food distribution event for residents of a portion of Barren County.
If you live in the following zip codes: 42141, 42142, 42123, 42130, 42131, 42156, 42166, and 42133, you must bring proof of your address. If you are having someone else pick up your food, they will need a note from you explaining the need for someone else to pick up your food, accompanied by your ID or a recent bill or piece of mail that shows your address.
Each month, in partnership with other agencies and churches throughout the area who will be assisting, River Lake Church will be repurposing the gathering area to receive pallets of food and prepare bags and boxes to distribute to families with curbside delivery. The Feeding America Kentucky’s Heartland October food distribution event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 17th from 9 until noon at River Lake Church, 2870 North Jackson Highway in Glasgow.
